    Ayon kay Manzano (2017), ang K-12 curriculum ay isang mahalagang salik sa pag-unlad ng mga mag-aaral na nasa technical vocational track sa kanilang napiling larangan. Ang K-12 curriculum ay nagbibigay ng malalim at masinsinang kaalaman sa mga mag-aaral. Sa pamamagitan ng pagdaragdag ng dalawang taon sa curriculum, nagkakaroon ng sapat na panahon upang matuto at maunawaan ang mga mahahalagang konsepto at kasanayan na may kaugnayan sa technical vocational track.
